So I've taken this year to relearn how to eat. And I've done a great job. But this week, mostly Friday-today I notice I've been juggling what I want to eat with what I should eat. Like this morning. I want a McDonalds Sausage McGriddle. I could eat something like that in moderation. Once in a awhile, rarely. Sure. But the problem for me comes psychologically. If I eat this now, after I've made a hard rule only to cheat one day a month, what's to keep me from bending the rules whenever my cravings pop up? It's going to be a disastrous 12 months if I start playing that game. No the answer is, I know I'm going to cheat next weekend because Scott's parents are in town. Have the McGriddle then.

I can wait. It's just a McGriddle and it's just 1 week. I may not even want it then.
