I have a Windows Phone. When I first got a smartphone, it was a Windows Phone. I loved the idea that you could play Xbox games through your phone. Did I mention I don't even own an Xbox? But I was sold, nonetheless. I also loved how you could control your main screen, the way it appeared anyway. Sort of... really blocky though and not all that customizable but still, I was sold. It didn't have many apps because it was a Windows platform and not an android. So it has the biggies, Netflix, Hulu, Facebook and Amazon with some weird bastardization of You Tube and some weird betas of Twitter and Instagram (which don't really work). And a few others... Everything else was made especially for Windows phones... games, camera apps, etc. Very limiting. I can't use any of the apps that stores have, like 7-11, McDonalds (not that I would), but you get the point. I was told those apps would all be coming soon. But that was years ago and nothing came. No one says that anymore. When I had a chance to upgrade a couple years ago... I got another Windows Phone. Because I was scared of change. That's stupid.

So now, I'm stuck with this crappy phone until August when I can afford a new phone. I'm so excited. I can use Instagram and post pictures that are exciting from the Holga app. Everything will be different. I will be able to download the Baskin Robbins app and take advantage of their many ice cream special where you buy one cone and get a second for $0.99. But for now I wait.

When the time comes, what should I get? iPhone, Galaxy, Google Pixel? I don't know what to get. Any suggestions?

I've been a Samsung person mostly. I used an iPhone for a time, and that was fine, too. I've been using one version or another of Galaxy for eons, as I am now. The one thing that bothers me are the apps that are only for iPhone, but that's capitalism and it's their right to keep things from android users. lol
