cierrablueYesterday was a beautiful and warm day. The roses were in bloom for the first time since we've lived here. I went for a walk and ran into a gang.
A gang of Jehovah's Witnesses. There was a minivan full of them. No one on the street was safe. They went door to door, block to block. It was not pretty.
Several of them blocked me. Began speaking about the bible. I was polite but stern. Then one fool decided to try to convince me to read the bible. He even informed me that all the information in the bible has been scientifically proven. I couldn't hold my laughter. I told them to let me pass or I would call the police and scream. They parted to let me pass, saying something I don't remember.
It did not escape my awareness that there were 7 of them in total and they were all men over 60. I wondered if they even allow women such a high honor as lying to strangers on the street. Surely that's a privilege for the men-folk.
