Reality vs. Desire
Mar. 11th, 2025 10:12 amWe are living in a world I never thought I'd see. My dad predicted this in 1985 and I thought he was nuts. I'm sorry he didn't live long enough to say "I told you so." He loved saying that. But at the same time, I'm super glad neither of my parents are alive to see this. It would destroy my mother. They would both hate this world.
It's about to get a lot worse. Some are starting to see it. Soon they all will. They want to be right. Their fragile egos depend on it. It will be interesting to watch how they bend the truth to justify the state of the country. Some will allow the veil to be lifted and some won't.
When I look at the Dow over the last year, it's way up. Someone is getting rich. But some people still choose to believe lies. We aren't in a recession. We are in a stranglehold.
My mantra for now is: buy what you need, ignore the wants. Stockpile your resources. You will soon need it just for the needs.
Hang on. We are in for a very bumpy ride.
